Michael Edwards Retired President and CEO, RT Investment Management Holdings Inc.
In 1984, Mike became the President and COO of Gardiner Watson/Dean Witter. He joined Richardson Greenshields of Canada Limited as Executive Vice President in 1987, was appointed Executive Vice President and COO in 1989, and became President and COO in 1991. In 1996, following the purchase of Richardson Greenshields by RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Mike was named the Executive Vice President and Director of RBC Dominion Securities Inc. In December 1998, he became President and CEO of RT Investment Management Holdings Inc. until his retirement in February 2002.
Mike has held numerous high profile positions including Chairman of the Toronto Stock Exchange from 1991 to 1993; Chairman of the Canadian Investor Protection Fund from 1993 to 1996; member of the Executive Committee of the Investment Dealers Association; Chairman of the Joint Industry Committee; and Chairman of the Children's Aid Society Foundation of Metropolitan Toronto.
Bruce Galloway Retired Vice Chairman, Royal Bank of Canada
Bruce joined the Royal Bank in 1968 where he spent his entire career before retiring in 1999 as a Vice-Chairman. During his career he was responsible for various divisions of the company, including Treasury, Corporate Banking and Wealth Management. In his role as a member of the bank's Executive Committee, he was responsible for the strategic direction of The Royal Bank Financial Group.
Bruce is active on the boards of various public and private companies, investing in various emerging enterprises. He has recently served as Executive in Residence at Acadia University where he graduated with a Commerce degree in 1968.
Peter Neve President & COO, FieldWorker Products Limited
Peter assumed the responsibility of leadership at FieldWorker Products Limited in November of 2001. His career in the technology sector started at Xerox in 1978, progressing through the vaunted Xerox sales development cycles for the next eleven years, culminating in a national management role.
Management roles at British Telecom, Appleton Papers, Oracle, Right Management Consultants and Compaq involved various distribution models completing the 'full distribution experience'. The scope of these responsibilities ranged from entrepreneurial to enterprise.
Dennis C. Semkiw Chairman of The Board, RAND Worldwide
In addition to being a founder of RAND Worldwide, Dennis was a founding partner of RAND Engineering Corporation, a consulting engineering firm established in 1980, and RANDVEST Inc., an investment holding company incorporated in 1986. He currently serves as President of RANDVEST Inc., Chairman of RAND Worldwide, and as officer and/or director of various other companies within the RAND corporate group.
All companies established under the direction of Dennis have been focussed primarily on the utilization of advanced technology within the engineering environment. RAND Worldwide is a leading provider of "state of the art" engineering solutions to the manufacturing industries.
David Richards CFO, RBC Dominion Securities
Dave was appointed CFO of RBC Dominion Securities in 1998. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer of Richardson Greenshields from 1986 to 1996. Prior to joining Richardson Greenshields, Dave was Chief Financial Officer of Merrill Lynch Canada.
